The M.S. sheets are cut into circles and than drawn to required size by the PRESS in three stages by using the reverse drawing technology which ensures de stressing of material for higher strength.

Welding Section

 

In this Section the deep drawn body is machined for smooth edges. It also ensures uniform length of the body.

  The bottom end is welded to the body with the help of an automatic fixture & neck ring is also welded to the body.
 
     
 

Hydro-Testing / Pressure Testing Section

 

Anti Corrosive Treatment Plan

 

All the welded bodies are hydro tested to 30kg/cm2. They are kept for at least 2 min. under press to observe leakage.

 
In this process all the rust & oil deposits on the body are cleaned, duly phosphated and passivation is carried out in seven stages as per IS standards. Hot phosphating improves the quality of anti corrosion & powder coating which shall pass salt spray test recommended by IS standards
 
     
 

<< Internal & External Powder Coating>>

In this Section the body is powder coated the externally as well as internally using automatic plant for uniform thickness of coat is checked by electronic coat meter.


 
     
 

Powder Filling

 

 

Pressurizing

 

In this section, squeeze grip valve with pressure gauge is fitted to the body & the body is filled with required capacity of DCP using automatic powder filling machine.

 
The Extinguishers is than pressurized by Nitrogen.
